Mayterm Housing Information

Current Hall Residents

Current hall residents that register for a Mayterm class and wish to remain on-campus may do so with no additional housing costs. However, keep the following points in mind:

• There is no food service during this period.
  
  
• Since only one hall will be open for Mayterm, hall residents will most likely relocate to another hall and room for this period. You will not be able to remain in your curent location.
  
  
• There are no single rooms available during Mayterm.
  
  
• If you register for a Mayterm class either online or at the Office of the Registrar and are requesting on-campus housing during this period, you must either stop by the Office of Student Life to place your name on the Mayterm housing list or you may do so by email here.
  
  
• If you plan to stay on-campus for a summer one class after Mayterm, you must also complete and submit a summer hall contract to the Office of Student Life. The form is available for download here.

Current Romers

Listed points to remember in the 'current hall residents' section above will also apply to you. In order to insure that you have a housing assignment in the Mayterm hall you must submit an email here. If you plan to stay on-campus for a summer one class after Mayterm, you must also complete and submit a summer hall contract to the Office of Student Life. The form is available for download here.

Current Student Apartment Residents

Apartment residents may remain at no additional cost if registered for a Mayterm class. Please advise by email here if doing so. Also, keep the following points in mind:

• We will make every attempt to keep everyone in their current apartment during this period. However, we cannot yet guarantee that we will be able to do so. It would help greatly if more than one resident in the apartment were remaining to take a Mayterm class.
  
  
• You are still responsible for maintaining utility accounts in your name during this period.
  
  
• If you register for a Mayterm class either online or at the Office of the Registrar and are requesting on-campus housing during this period, you must either stop by the Office of Student Life to place your name on the Mayterm housing list or you may do so by email here.
  
  
• If you are thinking about remaining for additional summer classes beyond Mayterm, be advised that we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate all requests. See Summer 2008 page.
  
  
• Spring residents remaining in the student apartments beyond 10 a.m. May 16th without Mayterm registration will be billed for each additional night of occupancy until receipt of keys in the Office of Student Life.
