What to Bring:

• two or more sets of twin-size bed linen
• bedspreads
• pillow
• towels and washcloths
• desk lamp
• alarm clock
• wastebasket
• personal toiletries
  
• long-distance phone card or cell phone with long distance plan
• cleaning supplies (all-purpose cleaner, paper towels, dust cloths)
• clothes basket or bag for dirty laundry
• Handy Tack, rubber cement, or 3M removable products (for posters, pictures, etc.)
• small bucket or container for toiletries

Nice options:

• small TV set
• DVD/VCR player
• 'mini' refrigerators
• coffee pots
• small microwaves, under 700 watts (there are microwaves in each hall kitchen)
• bicycle
• iron for use in laundry room
• desktop or laptop computer with printer
• headphones
• radio, small stereo, iPod
• small throw rugs
• extension cords (6 ft. or under, UL approved only)

What to leave at home:

• large furniture
• waterbed
• full-size refrigerator
• cooking appliances with open flame or heating elements
• pets (except small fish) are not allowed in campus living areas
• Alcoholic beverages, containers, bars, paraphernalia
• candles (not allowed in rooms due to local fire codes)
• firearms, weapons or fireworks
• incense or potpourri pots
• lighter fluid or other flammable materials
• space heaters
