Campus Ministry Programs
Campus Ministry offers a wide range of programs. We hope you will join us for some of them this year!
Please refer to the
Church of the Incarnation Bulletin
for the most updated information on these opportunities and events!
Alternative Spring Break
Alternative Spring Break mission trips are built on the four cornerstones of community, simplicity, service, and prayer. Preparations begin in October, and teams are chosen by the end of the fall semester.
Best Buddies
Pair up with the intellectually disabled for fun and friendship in this award-winning program. Contact Denise at x5168 or at
dphilli@udallas.edu
for more information.
Crusaders for Life
Crusaders for Life promotes the dignity of life from conception through natural death through their prayerful presence at a Dallas abortion clinic each Saturday, as well as through lectures and visits to a local retirement home. For more information, contact Julia Rooney at x5165 or at jrooney@udallas.edu.
Dinner & Discourse
Share a home cooked meal and discuss issues of faith and morals with a different guest speaker each week. Dinner & Discourse is held Tuesday evenings at 5:30 pm in Anselm 230. Contact the Office of Campus Ministry to find out the topic of the next Dinner & Discourse, or watch for signs around campus.
Hearts & Hammers
Hearts & Hammers is an annual housing rehabilitation project through the city of Dallas. This project takes place in September at the beginning of the semester.
Liturgical Ministry
Students are always welcome to be Ministers of Hospitality, Music, the Eucharist, and the Word. Spiritual and technical training are provided. For more information, contact Denise at x5168 or at

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)
If you are interested in becoming Catholic or finding out more about the Catholic Church, please join us for RCIA every Tuesday at 6:45pm in Anselm 230. For more information, contact Denise at x5168 or at
dphilli@udallas.edu

Called to Crochet
During the 2011-2012 academic year, Campus Ministry will continue to make baby items (blankets, booties, and hats) for the White Rose Women’s Center in Dallas, TX. The White Rose Women’s Center is a Catholic crisis pregnancy center for the abortion-minded mother. Julia Rooney will instruct students how to crochet if they do not already know how. Campus Ministry provides an assortment of yarn colors and hooks for the students to use!
