Barland worked in supply chain for over 20 years in the retail, distribution and manufacturing sectors. During his career, he held several management positions in project management, supply chain management, process improvement management and logistics management. He graduated with honors from Lynn University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and also a Master of Business Administration. Barland is certified as a Project Manager Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI) and holds certifications in production and inventory management and integrated resource management from APICS.
