Wanza Booker earned her bachelor's in accounting from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Business Administration from Prairie View A&M University. She has over 18 years of progressive accounting experience within the health care industry. Wanza Booker currently serves as a senior project manager with Texas Children’s Hospital, where she works alongside leadership and faculty to oversee the research financials for the organization. In her current role, Wanza Booker is tasked with streamlining ideas to ensure policies are in place, the annual research benchmarking survey and space allocation for over 500,000 square feet of lab space. Her areas of research interest include staff motivation, business leadership and the influence of power in business.
