Spring 2020 Satish & Yasmin Gupta College of Business Commencement Information

Mark your calendars for Graduation - Sunday, May 17th at 10:00 a.m.

 

The University of Dallas will award all bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees on May 17, 2020 during the 2020 Spring commencement ceremony at The Theatre of Grand Prairie. Please see the commencement website for further information: https://udallas.edu/commencement/index.php More information on obtaining tickets will be available soon.

Important Dates

Graduation Regalia Order Deadline - Friday, April 17, 2020: Deadline to order cap, gown, and (optional) country stole from Herff Jones (University of Dallas - College of Business). Questions may be directed to Herff Jones Representative, Mr. Gregg McDonald, at hjcollegetx@sbcglobal.net.  Please be aware that you MUST order a cap and gown if you intend to walk in the graduation ceremony. Please see this diagram for additional information. Please note, late orders will be accepted only through the Registrar's office after the deadline with an additional fee of $40.

May 12, 2020:  Graduation clearance deadline. All graduation requirements must be completed. This includes any outstanding Incomplete grades. Students enrolled in the intermester courses will not graduate as intermester classes end after the graduation clearance deadline. If you will complete your graduation requirements after the deadline, you may submit your application for graduation for the next term.

Sunday, May 17, 2020:  Graduation ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m at the Theatre of Grand Prairie, 1001 Performance Pl, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. Graduating students must arrive for check-in at 8:00 a.m. Students will be subject to a metal-detector screening before entering the theatre.

In our current condition, with most of the U.S. sheltering in place and/or learning and working from our homes, it's hard to imagine that just 20 days ago, teachers and those aspiring to be teachers gathered together for the fourth annual Excellence in Education conference at the University of Dallas, organized, run and sponsored by UD's Education Department, but so they did, and so we will all do -- gather together, that is -- some day again.
