University of Dallas Neuhoff School of Ministry students, immersed in the Catholic theological tradition, receive practice-oriented theological education rooted in the tradition of the Catholic Church. They develop critical skills for theological reflection and receive in-depth formation that fosters personal growth, professional ministry and transformative service to the Catholic Church, the broader Christian community and the wider world.

Master of Catechetical Ministry 37 credits Graduate Those seeking to teach the faith in a school/ parish setting or to serve as parish catechetical leaders
Master of Catholic School Leadership 37 credits  Graduate Those seeking to prepare themselves for leadership in Catholic education at the elementary, secondary and district levels
Master of Pastoral Ministry 37 credits Graduate Those seeking to serve the diverse pastoral needs of the church, especially in the following concentrations: campus ministry, church management, health care ministry or youth ministry
Master of Theological Studies 37 credits Graduate Those seeking to gain advanced theological knowledge for practical application; Concentration in Biblical studies is available 
Graduate Certificates 18 credits Graduate

Those who have already earned a master’s degree or who wish to focus on a particular field but who are not currently interested in seeking an advanced degree

Catholic Biblical School 4 years Continuing Education Religious education leaders, deacons, lectors, leaders of Bible study groups and adults of all education levels seeking an intensive study covering the entire Bible; Also offered in Spanish.
Certificate in Pastoral Ministry 2-3 years Continuing Education Adult learners in the Diocese of Dallas seeking foundational theological and pastoral resources for professional or volunteer ministry; Also offered in Spanish.

Deacon Formation varies Continuing Education and/ or Graduate Candidates for the diaconate can pursue the academic component of their formation through the Master of Theological Studies program. This decision is made in consultation with the director of their diocese's permanent deacon formation program. 
Theology of the Body Two 13-week sessions  Continuing Education  Parish leaders and those who work in young adult ministry, youth ministry, family ministry, marriage prep and enrichment and natural family planning find this course particularly relevant to their life's work. Also offered in Spanish

Parents Support University in Late Daughter's Memory

Mike Kiegerl's youngest daughter, Christine, would have graduated from UD in the Class of 1994, but just before her graduation, she was struck by an impaired truck driver and died instantly. Kiegerl and his wife, Peggy, established the Christine S. Kiegerl Memorial Scholarship in their girl's memory in 1997.

UD in Service: Ph.D. Students Share 'Confessions' in South Irving

UD students not only read St. Augustine's "Confessions" in Rome, traveling to Ostia to marvel at the place in which, according to Book IX, St. Augustine and his mother, St. Monica, had a joint mystical vision of God — they also travel 4.4 miles from the Irving campus to read the text with residents of South Irving.
