The Ann & Joe O. Neuhoff Institute for Ministry & Evangelization at the University of Dallas, in cooperation with the Diocese of Dallas hosted the first annual University of Dallas Ministry Conference in 2007 with about 1,000 participants in attendance. After that event, the Bishops of Dallas and Fort Worth at the time, Most Rev. Kevin Farrell and Most Rev. Kevin Vann, committed that UDMC would be the only Roman Catholic ministry conference held in either diocese. This has helped grow the conference drastically, with over 4,500 participants in 2009, over 5,000 participants in 2010, and nearly 5,200 participants in 2011 and in 2012. In 2013 and 2014, the conference brought in over 5,200 people, making it the largest event in UDMC's short history and the second largest annual ministry conference in the U.S. The University of Dallas is excited to continue the partnership with the Diocese of Dallas, as the conference returns to the Irving Convention Center in 2019.
The University of Dallas Ministry Conference enables and supports all those engaged in the mission and ministry of the Catholic Church. The conference offers the latest in ongoing spiritual, human, intellectual, and pastoral formation to a multicultural audience.

The University of Dallas and the Catholic Diocese of Dallas, co-sponsors of the University of Dallas Ministry Conference, announced that to better reflect their partnership, the conference will henceforth be known as the Dallas Ministry Conference. The 10th annual conference will be held Sept. 29-Oct. 1, 2016, at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas.
