Open House Events
UD welcomes prospective students and their families to visit our campus at any time. One of the best times to visit is during our special Open House events. We offer Odyssey Days for high school juniors and seniors and Meet Us @ the Tower for admitted high school seniors.
Our open house events provide a structured and informative program of activities for you and your parents -- covering academics, financial aid, and any other questions you may have.
Odyssey Days
The Journey Begins...
One of the most important steps in the college admission process is the college visit. A college visit gives you the opportunity to further explore the campus, ensuring that you make a well-informed college decision. By visiting the University of Dallas, you can determine if our school matches your academic, spiritual and social goals and expectations.
The Odyssey Days program is formal enough to engage you with our campus community, but flexible enough so that you can explore your individual academic and co-curricular interests.
What goes on at Odyssey Days
Learn what makes a UD education distinctive
Visit regularly scheduled classes
Tour the campus and residence halls
Interact with faculty members in academic areas of interest
Compete for a Special Award Program scholarship(open only to high school seniors who have applied for admission and completed all scholarship requirements)
Attend a student panel to learn about student life
Obtain information about the UD application process
Discuss UD admissions with an Admission Counselor
Take a student-guided tour of the campus
Sample residence hall life
Get a true sense about what UD is really like

Spring Preview: Meet Us @ the Tower
Meet Us at the Tower is an open house event for admitted students and their families. Admitted students are invited to campus (or back to campus) for one final visit prior to the May 1st National Candidate Reply Date. This weekend is full of interactive events for our future students, including open classes, overnight dorm stays, an evening in Dallas and much more.
