Vikas has 23 years of IT experience in government, healthcare, insurance, and eCommerce domains. He started his career as a developer, and with his dedication and hard work, he moved to executive management within a few years. His main areas of interest are product management, software delivery, and building and leading global teams. He holds many professional certifications in the IT field, like Certified Technical Architect, Agile-ACP, and Project/Program management-PMP.

Vikas would like to continue in his professional field after DBA but is also interested in giving his learnings back to the community by teaching the disadvantaged population, including local schools, colleges, etc. His areas of interest in DBA research topics include:

1. How AI/ML (Artificial intelligence/Machine Learning) can help in Child/Adult Growth
2. Measures to improve sales in an organization that has not won a project in a few years.
3. Championing organizational management to increase productivity.
