CAB Events
CAB hosts a variety of events for students throughout the academic year.
TGIT
Thank. Goodness. It's. Thursday! Every Thursday night, students can find music and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) down in the Rat. It's the best place on campus to start the weekend a little early. Throughout the year there is a variety of live music, including karaoke, student, and local bands. Come dressed for the weekly theme and have a good time!
Music on the Mall
On Fridays, the Mall is the place to be! Every Friday, students kick off the weekend by playing music on the Mall from 10 am to 5 pm. Students sign up during the week for shifts to play their music for everyone to hear. Sign up HERE to be a DJ!
Cap House
Come listen to fellow students perform in the Cap Bar.
Wine Down Wednesdays
The week is halfway over! Relax with a glass of wine and some cheese and crackers, while participating in a great discussion led by one of your professors. Not 21? Not to worry - non-alcoholic drinks are also available.
Quiz Bowl
Test your knowledge of random facts about history, pop culture, science, and more! Organize a team of 5 people and join CAB for an evening of fun. Why not invite a professor to join your team for an extra edge? Cost is $1 per person, per team to play.

As one of University of Dallas' oldest traditions, Groundhog encompasses an entire weekend of fun and fellowship. Students, alumni, and friends enjoy events such as Groundhog TGIT, a Powder Puff Football, 5K, soccer and rugby games, and finally the Party in the Park where you can roast marshmallows, chow down on barbecue and wash it down with an icy cold beer or soft drink and enjoy the live bands!
