How can I sign-up for the 5k?
You can sign up for the Groundhog 5k in the J.M. Haggar University Center foyer Monday-Friday
the week of Groundhog. Your 5k t-shirt is $10.
Can I only purchase the sweatshirt if I don't want to go to the Party in the Park?
We are not selling the sweatshirt without the ticket. Plus, we'd love to have you
at the Party in the Park!
Where can I park for the Party in the Park?
You may park anywhere on campus in a non-reserved parking spot. The lot directly in
front of Catherine Hall will be reserved for Tower ticket holders who are also attending
the Alumni dinner. These ticket holders can begin parking in this lot at 11 a.m. The
parking lot between Groundhog Park and Madonna Hall will be closed starting Friday
at 3 p.m.
There will be three entrance lines into the park: under 21, over 21, and Tower ticket
holders. The park will open at 8 p.m. To enter the park, you must have your Groundhog
sweatshirt, ticket, and state ID. If you are a Tower ticket holder, and you bought
a ticket for someone else, they must enter with you when you enter.
You may buy a ticket online until January 19th. Tickets will be sold on the 2nd floor
of the J.M. Haggar University Center from 10 a.m.- 6:30 p.m. Monday-Friday of Groundhog
week (or until sweatshirts are sold out).
I bought a ticket online. Where do I pick up my ticket and sweatshirt?
You may pick them up in Upstairs Haggar during normal ticket selling hours. There
will also be will-call on February 1st outside the park.
Can I bring a bag into the park?
No bags, purses, or containers of any kind will be allowed into Groundhog Park. Diaper
bags will be permitted after security searches your bag.
Yes, you may smoke in the park.
What is included in my ticket?

- All classic ticket items, Groundhog 2020 stein, and access to the Groundhog Den

I’m a Tower ticket holder. Where do I pick up my stein?
Your stein will be available for you as you enter the park. You must go through the Tower
ticket line to get your stein.
What is the Groundhog Den?
A covered tent with restrooms and a beer line, exclusive for Tower ticket holders. Think
of the Groundhog Den as a “fastpass” area!
Is the alumni tent different than the Groundhog Den?
Yes. All alumni and their guests are welcome to go into the alumni tent to meet and
mingle with other alumni. The Groundhog den is exclusively for Tower ticket holders.
I want to go to TGIT. Anything I need to know?
We will wristband all people over 21, so please bring your state and student IDs to
TGIT. We will announce Groundhog King and Queen at 10:30 p.m. There will also be a
beer tasting event from 8 p.m. - 9 p.m. before Groundhog TGIT. Tickets will be $5.00
Can you ship my sweatshirt to me?
No, we will not be shipping sweatshirts this year.
