MBA or MS?

The Masters of Science (M.S) is a 30-hour program in finance that equips professionals with an intensive education in investments, corporate finance, accounting, business analytics, ethics, and sustainability. The MBA program with a concentration in corporate finance is a 42-hour program for students pursuing careers in financial or treasury management, or financial advising that merges a practical experiential MBA with four additional finance classes.

The programs in the College of Business are accredited by AACSB and incorporate practical and experiential learning taught by instructors with decades of real-world relevant business experience. Many of our adjunct instructors manage multi-million dollar projects while teaching. Our Finance students are working professionals in their field and are able to have immediate application of what they are learning. The University of Dallas finance program has been accepted into the CFA Institute University Recognition Program and has incorporated the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK). The MS program prepares our students to take the CFA Level 1 Exam and seek to obtain the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, which has become the most respected and recognized investment credential in the world.
