The Yale Fund Scholarship

The Yale Fund Scholarship takes its name from the late Dr. Robert Yale, a beloved Assistant Professor of Business Communications in the Gupta College of Business who passed away in 2017. Dr. Yale's enthusiasm and love for teaching inspired countless students and made a lasting impact on the UD community. The Yale Fund Scholarship is a $500 one-time award given annually to one incoming freshman who exhibits the desire to discover their God-given talents and vocation through the UD academic process, as demonstrated by a short written response/essay.

Opens: May 1, 2024
Deadline: May 31, 2024 by 11:59 pm CDT.

Requirements:
1. Applicant must be an incoming freshman undergraduate student.
2. Applicant must have a FAFSA on file for the aid year in which they are applying for the scholarship.

Selection Criteria:
1. Scholarship recipients must exhibit the desire to uncover their potential through the UD academic process.
2. Scholarship recipients must demonstrate financial aid eligibility and financial need.
